Boudin Noir in Charlotte?

My Belgian husband would flip his lid (in a good way) if I made him boudin noir for Valentine's Day. Does anyone know of a great butcher in the Charlotte area (or Rock Hill SC) who makes unusual sausages? I would make it myself, but I don't have the equipment and frankly don't trust myself with the task! Thanks!

It's not Boudin Noir exactly, but sometimes you can get kaszanka at A&A European deli on Independence. The other Polish grocery store on South Blvd. may carry it as well.

I think your best bet would be to call Bucky at Reid's Fine Foods. He is their resident butcher extrordinaire and if he doesn't have it or make it or have a source for it, he'll point you in the right direction. http://www.reids.com

The only places I've seen more esoteric sausages are the Meat House or Dean and Deluca.
