Easter brunch - San Jose

I'm a Los Angeleno looking for Easter Sunday brunch in Santa Clara/San Jose. We have a car and will have been in San Fran the day/night before so we don't want to head back to the city. My preference would be a restaurant that does amazing egg dishes and fancy french toast et al, but if we have to do the hotel brunch thing we will. Thanks so much for your help.

As we get closer to Easter (past Valentine's Day), you might look at opentable and see who is promoting Easter Brunch. Then you could ask chowhounds if some of the places that appeal to you sound good.

it seems though your request could be split from easter. You are just looking for a great brunch in the area.

Will you be staying in SJ Saturday or are you driving down from the city on Sunday? Is this on a drive back to LA?

I ask because it might open up other options.

Sorry for the delay in replying as I've been traveling. We're staying on Santana Row and will be looking for somewhere Santa Clara University-ish area Easter morning with our daughter and possibly her friends before we head back to LA. Anywhere that does a good brunch in the San Jose/Santa Clara area would be great. We'd like an amazing breakfast at a cool place - doesn't have to be fancy - rather than a hotel buffet but at least we could make a reservation at a hotel. Thanks.
