Any thoughts on Lunasia?

A friend has suggested we meet for dim sum at Luanasia in Alhambra. Her daughter has highly
recommended this place that was formally known as Trumphal Palace I believe. Please give
me suggestions or warnings whatever the case may be.

  1. I tried Lunasia again a few months ago, and was reminded how much better Elite and Sea Harbour are. Lunasia is fine, and they do the usual standards well, and it's definitely a solid, second-tier place for dim sum (along with King Hua), but generally I wouldn't choose it over the Elite/Sea Harbour duopoly.

Aside from the live band, there is very little reason to go to Lunasia. Even with the live band, there still isn't *that* much reason ...

        1. Lunasia is very good, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I've never had a bad experience there for lunch or dinner.

          1. It's fine, not the best in SG, but to its credit, it does serve dimsum all day long.

              According to their website:

              "Dim Sum: Monday - Friday 10am - 3pm Saturday, Sunday and Holidays 9am - 3pm"

That's not much longer than Elite or Sea Harbor.

            2. We ate dim sum at Lunasia in late December and really liked it. I thought it was much, much better than our last meal at King Hua and just a little below Sea Harbour and Elite at their best. Did we catch them on a very good day?

              1. It's not bad. I like Elite and Sea Harbour better.
