Whataburger on the Northshore

Assistance appreciated! I have a very vivid memory of going to a Whataburger in Covington just off the 190 about 3 years ago. However, I have recently been informed that it is no longer there and, in fact, may never have been there in the first place. Please let me know if there was ever a Whataburger on the Northshore or if I am the victim of an extremely elaborate hoax or possible hallucination. Thanks!

I can't remember a n shore Whataburger. Particulalry since K. The only real chain burger place in Covington proper is McD's

Never been a Whataburger there. Whataburger is a Texas thing, if I'm not mistaken. They go nuts for them here (Dallas, now) but I personally don't get it.

If I remember correctly for a while there was a Backyard Burger, maybe that was it? If not there's Rally's, a McD, Burger King, etc and a few other places right off 190 coming to mind quick.

I also thought Whataburger was Texas only. Several decades ago they were awesome. What they serve now and what they have served for the last dozen or so years is not representative of what they once were so it's no surprise that you are underwhelmed.
