Restaurant Suggestions Near Gershwin Theatre
Hi, my husband and I are going to New York to celebrate his 40th's birthday and we are planning to go see Wicked. The show starts at 7 and I am looking for a good restaurant option close to the theatre in the $120-$180 range for both of us. I am pregnant so won't be drinking so that is just a food budget. Are there any restaurants close by where we wouldn't feel rushed?? If there isn;t time for a 3 course meal I would be open to going out for dinner first, then see the show, and then head someone for desert. Are there any restaurants close to the theatre that cater to late night desert dates?? Somewhere nice, and not a casual cafe atmosphere? Last time we were in NYC we ate at Le Bernardin and it was amazing, but we are looking for something a little less expensive, but still with great food quality and an upscale modern atmosphere that is not too casual.
I have heard good things about 44 & X hells kitchen. If we went there would we have time to have a relaxed dinner and walk to the theatre to catch a 7:00 show?They open for dinner at 5:30.

La Silhouette opens at 5:00 pm and has a pre-theater menu for $48, and you can get a 30% discount if you book your reservation through Savored.com.
Also, Le Bernardin now has a lounge menu.
