Looking For A Recipe From A Former St. Louis County Restaurant

Years ago there used to be a restaurant in Florissant, Mo called Kenrod's. It has since been torn down and replaced by a Hooter's. The recipe I'm looking for is for the hot sauce they used for their wings. I've searched high and low and I can't find a duplicate of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It looks to me like they are still open...But I see now they are not.

Yeah they turned it into a mexican restaurant in 04 or 05 and that lasted about 6 month before closing up. They tore it down in I want to say 07 and built hooter's on that property. The two brother's who owned it Ken & Rod Archer now own Lotawata Creek in Fairview Heights.

Lemons: I did not know that but I'll contact her and see what I get.

And have you talked to the Archers about the recipe?

No, because I have no clue how to do that.

Google them, get a phone number and call. Leave a call-back message if they're not there. Call in between meal time, say 10:45 a.m. or after 1:30 p.m. until, say, 4:30 p.m.

              Nice display of restraint, Lemons.

I was curious and emailed them yesterday. Got the following response-

<I AM SORRY BUT THIS IS A SECRET FAMILY RECIPE.>

Have you e-mailed Judy Evans, the food editor at the Post-Dispatch? They do recipe searches.
