La Bruschetta

Lately, after many years, we have started going to La Bruschetta again. Really a delightful experience. Great food, good specials, reasonable wines by the glass, excellent service, classy environment, willing to modify dishes according to taste or dietary preference, etc.. What more could you wan? Not especially flashy or the newest scene, just consistently good dining. With the demise of solid places like Angeli, I think that we all need to reconsider supporting the restaurants that have been around for a while and are dependable. We are trying to make a big effort to spread out our choices to a mix of new and trendy and solid and consistent.

Planning ahead for when the place link feature "goes dark" here is the website for La Bruschetta: http://www.labruschettawestwood.com/

What do you recommend in the way of dishes here? We went a couple of times some years ago, but then ended up reverting back to Sprazzo.

I've had some great dinners at La Bruschetta. Their "catch of the day" has always satisfied. And I am very very picky when it comes to seafood. One of my all time favorites was a pounded, breaded bone-in veal chop, topped with muzzarella on a bed of tomotto sauce. The best breaded veal cutlett ever,
