Le Bernardin Beer Question
I am eating at Le Bernardin for the first time next week. We would like to pair beer with our meal. I see a bottle list on their website but I don't see a list of taps. Do they have tap beer and, if so, does anyone know what they have?

You won't find any taps behind the bar at Le Bernardin. But, it wouldn't surprise me if Aldo Sohm, the sommelier, would rise to the challenge of a beer pairing. There must be a few Belgian ales in the fridge there. I just don't think this is the best way to enjoy a meal at Le Bernardin. Consider mixing things up a bit, maybe having a beer with the amuse, some sake with the raw course and a nice wine with the main course.

Agree with famdoc -- I don't think that they maintain an extensive selection of bottled beers. Of all the NYT four star restaurants, EMP is the place to enjoy a beer pairing. Not only do they have several options on draft, their list of bottled beers is a major point of pride for the restaurant.
