Need Sushi Recommendation

Hi, I'm looking for some recommendations on a good sushi restaurant that's reasonably priced, reliable in quality, and has an intimate atmosphere where tables aren't on top of each other. Any part of town would be fine, especially Chelsea, Upper East or Westside, East or West Village, SOHO... This is for a Tuesday night. Much thanks!

  1. kanoyama ( 2nd ave. 11thst) they have plenty of tables in front and back. Order off the regular menu not omakase, they have cooked things too.
Takahachi tribeca (duane St) or (Ave A) they have lots of rolls
Aki ( W.4th) some jamaican style and regular sushi
Cotan ( 1st ave,) reasonable good sushi
Hasaki ( 9th street) used to be very good, i havent been there is ages

The best way to eat sushi is at a sushi bar, but if you are a group and want to talk, tables are best. So good to go to somewhere with alot of rolls, so you can share easily. Takahachi in Tribeca has a back area that is good.
