Australian Mail-Order Cookies?

Have a friend who's in Australia for the college semester. Would like to send her a little something for Valentine's Day...like cookies or brownies...but would prefer to ship directly from Australia. Anyone have a suggestion for a good bakery?

It can depend on what part of Australia your friend is in as bakery's vary far and wide across Oz :) I don't know an awful lot about what cookies are the best, etc., but as a pointer David Jones has food halls in their department stores across the country and they usually feature a Byron Bay cookies counter. They have all sorts of baked goodies and while you cannot order them online I am sure if you gave them a call and spoke to them they would happily organise for them to be shipped. Good luck!
