Ate there today. I went with my husband and sister, and we each ordered half a crab and clam chowder and a side of fries. Everything was soooooo good! The crab was extremely fresh and we watched them pick our crab and take it to the back to be cooked. The fries were nice and hot and crispy, and the clam chowder was really tasty. I highly recommend this place! They also serve a really nice garlic butter for dipping. I love that eating here is supporting a local fisherman!

I feel like this would be a great place to take someone on a first date if you know they like seafood! Fun to get a bit messy.

Haven't been yet. Took a look at their website http://thecrabking.com and under "style" it shows a picture of what looks to be a lovely octopus and scallop ceviche or salad. NICE!! I thought but then looked in vain through their menu for anything octopus and scallopy. That's a bit of a tease.... Can't wait to try their moules-frites though.

Any other recent experience at The Crab King ? Might hit them up this long weekend ......

Their website doesn't show hours of operation.

I ate at Crab King two weekends ago. I found the crab and shrimp to be over cooked. I liked the fries though..lol.

Thx for the reminder, Vandan. Do they have inside seating, or is it like PaJo's where it's primarily outside seating & take-out only ?
