Staying at a hotel at Presidio/California, where should I eat tonightt?

I'm in town with no car and not really familiar with this neighborhood--any reccs for a good restaurant for a solo diner within walking distance would be much appreciated!

Sociale or Spruce, if you can get in.

If you want Italian, eat at Osteria on the corner of Presidio & Sacramento. You could also take a look at Garabaldi, on the west side of Presidio, just north of Sacramento.

Otherwise, you could walk 8-10 blocks east on California to Fillmore Street and find a wide selection of places to choose from.
