Martini bar north of Boston?

Suzie11 Jan 26, 2012 04:32 PM

I love good food and atmosphere, but also enjoy a creative martini before dinner. Looking for a restaurant north of Boston with a nice martini menu. Can be anything from a pizza/burger place to more upscale. Thanks.

How far north? Nashua NH has Stella Blu--martinis and tapas.

In Malden, All Season's Table or Exchange Street Bistro. I prefer the food at All Season's.

Abbondanza in Everett has a martini bar downstairs, I haven't had a chance to try it though.

Probably not as far as Nashua, but thanks for that suggestion. I'm generally somewhere between Malden and Amesbury, and out to Gloucester or Haverhill.

Although I personally find it to be quite a "Cougar Den/Girls Night out" type place (not my preference), the Venetian Moon in Reading center has a large martini list.

Teresa's in Middleton has a nice martini bar. Nice atmosphere, great selection and great martinis. The menu is Italian-American and the food is moderately priced.

Are you looking for a place that serves only martinis, or are you looking for a cocktail bar? I'd figure that a place that only serves gin/vermouth in standard proportions would get a bit dull after a while.
