Best midtown croque monsieur for lunch tomorrow?

This is my son's favourite and I want to take him for lunch. Didier actually has one on his Winterlicious menu (okay - it is a croque madame - with the egg). Any other suggestions?

Guess I might be too late.
The version at Simple isn't traditional, but it's tasty.

There's also an ok version at Steak Frites, but I like Simple's version better.

If you willing to go a little bit north the Trio Restaurant at the Novotel North York (just north of Sheppard on Yonge - direct access from the North York Centre subway stop) has a Croque Madam on their Winterlicious lunch menu. I've eaten there a few times and have always been pleased. Their Summerlicious 2011 menu was lovely so I expect this will be as well.

Was going to head out to Coquine but because of the snow we ended up at a pizza place within walking distance. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I am writing them all down for future use.

my vote is for Pain Perdue on St. Clair

my personal fav croque madame is at le cigogne. its a very fresh brioche sliced with layers of ham and cheese and has a perfect balance of sweet & salty....and a fried egg on top. be warned that it is not a heavy custard type but with a nice bechamel instead.
