Pasta with strawberries

I've always been curious about this dish but have never ordered it or ventured to make it. Thanks.
I've never eaten it, but it sounds like it could definitely work. Strawberries and balsamic certainly go together. I would expect it to be on the sweeter side, but that's never bothered me before in a tomato sauce. With the acidity from the vinegar, it sounds like a bright but balanced dish.
If you do get around to making it please post your experience! I would love to hear how it turned out.
On a similar note, I have done risotto with strawberries and strawberry/chicken risotto as well as a peach risotto. If you step back, pasta is a flour base so how different conceptually is it from using strawberries with a traditonal pie crust or biscuit? Same family tree, just several branches further away.
Another riff is making a 'chocolate' pasta and then serving it with fudge sauce and ice cream.
