Looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant in Long Beach
I'm fairly new to Long Beach and don't know of any Vietnamese restaurants in the area. I would love to be able to get a good bowl of pho without having to make the trek to Westminster. Does anyone know of a place around Belmont Shores or downtown area?

benley's on Wardlow is much better than the ones in Garden Grove in my opinion.

re: JBC
Pho 54 is fine, not great, but always crowded.
I believe Hoai Huong has new ownership. If it's the place I'm thinking of, it was quite good; maybe they have the same cooks with the new owners.
Haven't been to Saigon Express. Near LBCC? If so, I've heard good things.
I've been going to Long Beach Pho on Willow near Magnolia. I like the broth a lot.
Kevin, I believe, posted a positive review of a new Vietnamese place on the eastern end of Wardlow called Benley's. It's east of the 605. Good reviews in the papers, as well.
To my knowledge, there are no pho places in Belmont Shores or downtown LB. But there are many Vietnamese/Cambodian/Thai places on Anaheim Street.
