Catering at $65/head or lower for a buffet-style reception?

Hi, everyone. Love the boards. Great info on here.

I'm looking to have a wedding catered at either The Pharmacy Museum in the Quarter or The Parisian Courtyard Inn on Prytania in the fall of this year (late Oct) for 150 people. I'd like to keep the per-person rate under $65. The event would likely run 4-8 pm, and it wouldn't be a seated dinner, but buffet-style, possibly with passed hors d'oeuvres.

So far, I've tried K-Paul's (starts at $85/head) and Fleur de Lis Catering (starts at $70), so I'm getting a feel for what's out of range. I'm looking for some traditional Louisiana/New Orleans cooking on the menu--étoufée, chicken and sausage gumbo, some kind of dish with tasso, etc--not that the menu needs to have exactly these things, and not that it can't also be more creative in its way of conceiving of Louisiana cooking, but that the spirit of the menu would be guided by that sort of fare.

Anyway, any ideas? And does anyone know what kinds of flatware/glassware typically comes in a catering package, or does that tend to vary from place to place?

Thanks in advance!

    Try Portobello Catering.

Try Pigeon catering on South Clark Street. Used them a few years ago at the Board of Trade on Magazine. I was pleased and I am picky.
