"Romantic" spot near Pru for drinks & apps

I'm looking for a quiet spot with a nice beer and wine list and good appetizers.
romantic is in quotes b/c I'm really just looking for somewhere with the right ambience for there to be the potential for romance. Not someplace that screams it.

Basically a good place to start the process of turning a co-worker into a co-habitator.

2nd the Bristol Lounge and also the Salon at L'Espalier would be perfect also.

I would suggest either the lounge/bar at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel or the Bristol Lounge at the Four Seasons. Both have nice atmosphere, good food and drinks and are quiet compared to many other places.
