New Bedford?

Heading there on a road trip with a friend on Super Bowl Sunday (early in the day) and we're looking for a place to get some local atmosphere and Portugese food.

So far I've come up with Antonio's, Madeira Cafe and Fresca Grill. Looking further it seems like Cove Rd (or street?) and Rivet St. are the places to be......... Looking for something with a beer and wine license as well.

Thanks!

MUCH better than Antonio's is Mimo's. we go there every yr when we're down for the folk fest in july.

you bet. i like mimo's specifically for their take on the famous pork w/clams, and potatoes. their shrimp fritter app is better than A's too.

Antonio's is great, but you'll want to post this in the Southern new England board.
