Cobras & Matadors on Hollywood Blvd.

I am interested in any insight people may have about the Hollywood (not Beverly) location of Cobras & Matadors. I just ate at Cobra Lily last week and wondered if the menu is the same.
Interestingly enough, my pals and I had amazing service last night. The manager/host was an attentive laugh riot and our server was just enough sweet and sassy and amiable to make the night a delight.
The food was good, but some things that usually please me disappointed. The one thing I always go back for are those lentils. This trip, they were dry and overly toasted with very little flavor, lacking that zing and tang that they usually do. And the asparagus crossed over the line to charred and wilted.
On the other hand, the albondigas which I usually don't care for at C&M were totally on point, flavor and texture.
Sure, it can be hit or miss, but I still enjoy it through and through.
The best part about the C&M is the delicous and well-priced wine list. The host/manager that djquinnnc mentioned is very friendly and accomodating and guide you through all the wines. My favorite is the red wine from Murcia.
The food, well, is okay. The only thing that truly stands out in my memory are the lentils.
It's a great place to go with a bunch of people and drink a bunch of wine == and engage in a little nibble.
