'Souper' Bowl idea request

Does anyone have suggestions for a 'New York' theme soup? I want to have a 'Souper Bowl' potluck- with New England Clam Chowder and ????

Cheesey beer soup with some mustard, topped with pretzel croutons? My first automatic respond is a cheeseburger soup, but that's just plain Super Bowl, not New York.

New york makes me think of pizza, bagels, and dunkin donuts for some reason lol

heh, you could have battling chowders with Manhattan vs. New England Chowders. :)

But for something a little more complimentary I'd go with something ethnic that represents the NY melting pot. Minestrone, Won Ton, Pasole, etc. Or a steak and potatoes style with a broth that's almost a gravy but not quite. Kinda stew like but just this side of soup.
