Bismarks in Newport

I'm hoping someone can tell me if there is a bakery in Newport that has great bismarks. My husband is there on business and would love for him to bring me back some. Thanks.

I've never heard of these - just looked them up - they seem to be some kind of Hungarian pastry - just curious - why would you think that Newport has them?

No there are not a Hungarian pastry. They are like a donut filled with a combination of real whipped cream and a raspberry jam. Just go over the bridge and you can find them at most bakeries.

Was asking why Newport, because I wonder if Newport, or this area is known for those pastries - and why they wouldn't be available everywhere.

If you get over to Hope Valley, and want to try one, try West's Bakery.
