Looking for a unique hotel to host a 50th birthday party for about 75 people. Something that won't bust the budget for food, room costs, etc. Would like something unique looking and not the average "stuffy" corporate hotel.
Jeserf always says great things about Urbana at the Hotel Palomar, which she says does wonderful heavy appetizers. It's a very chic setting, not stuffy at all.
We may need more information. How much per head are you willing to spend? Would you prefer city or country setting? Are you looking for a sit down dinner, buffet style? Open bar?
You can try the Donovan House if its in Spring or Summer you can rent out the rooftop pool
