Bracebridge - Waitt’s Bakery & Rombo's

I haven’t been to Bracebridge for many MANY years. Does anyone know what happened to Waitt’s Bakery??

Also, what happened to Rombo’s?

It was Waite's Bakery and it's long gone...still yearn after their Chelsea Buns...my brothers and I would take the boat up the river to the dock in Bracebridge, buy one or maybe two Chelsea buns and a few bottles of Muskoka Dry ginger ale and sit by the falls and pig out...good times....

That is so surprising that they are long closed. For some reason, I just thought it would be one of those places that ran forever. I guess not. And that’s sad.

Those chocolate chip cookies. Oh man. Great memories. I share yours - boating up the river to the Bracebridge dock and Riverside Inn. Waite’s was always there after those boat trips. Le sigh.

I think there used to be an Albo's in Bracebridge. Rombo's is still in Gravenhurst.
