Business Dinner Budget Dropped - Help Needed

So I've got a business dinner for 4 people this Thursday and had booked David Burke's. My budget just got chopped so high end beef is out of the question. Can someone recommend something awesome that I can do in the $30/person range that would be within a $10 cab ride of the Swisshotel? Any cuisine will work, just looking for something really good.

          Some thoughts:
          Atwood Cafe - in the loop, quiet, quite good, Loop
          Carnivale - lively, maybe a little noisy, but good and reasonable pan-Latin, West Loop
          Bistronomic - French
          Coco Pazzo Cafe - Italian, quiet, Streeterville
          Zocolo - upscale Mexican (not tacos and burritos)
          Mexique, fine Mexican in a quiet setting, West Town
          LeSardine - French bistro; authentic excellent food, West Loop

        We've fallen in love with La Madia for their special entrees - see if you can book the table in the side room with the wine cellar and it would feel quite upscale. Order the chianti braised short ribs with vegetable risotto for a super good meal.

          You're right, Siun, most entrees there are in the mid- to upper-20s.

            I haven't been to Atwood since Chef Terhune moved to Sable - how is it nowadays? I always really enjoyed it.

        2. If you choose a restaurant close to the hotel so you can walk, could you not put the cab fare toward the dinner?
