I am looking for some ways to prepare cube steak that don't involve flouring and frying first. Chicken fried steak is the rule here in the South. I am looking for a more healthy alternative.
Hot and Fast on the Grill........
We like to marinade it for a while in vegetable oil and soy sauce and then cook on a hot grill. Maybe one cup of oil to a quarter cup of soy sauce. Let it drain fairly well before you put it on the grill or it will flare up terribly.
Sauteed with onions, mushrooms, and a little wine?
