Charleston dinner on Sunday night (also happens to be the Super Bowl)

Hi there -- my husband and I are planning a quick trip to Charleston for my birthday next month, and we were all set to have Sunday dinner at Husk on February 5. It turns out that they are closed that Sunday, for an employee retreat of sorts. They also reminded me that the Super Bowl is that night -- I'm not sure that that matters, but I thought I'd mention it, in case that affects your recommendations for one reason or another.

I've moved Husk to Monday for lunch, and then we'll have dinner at FIG (big eating day!), but I'm not sure what to do about Sunday night. I know SNOB is open, but I ate there last year and didn't absolutely love it. It doesn't have to be super fancy -- but I would love to have something reserved, since we're only there for two days.

If you're familiar with Atlanta, where we live, we love Empire State South, Miller Union, Cakes & Ale...

I've seen reviews here of Pane e Vino, but beyond that I'm stumped. Any ideas?

Thanks so much!

Wow, FIG and Husk in the same day! Lucky you.

We went Anson, Tristan, and McCrady's for restaurant week. All were great but Anson was exceptional. And they are open on Sunday.

There's a new place, MacIntosh, on Upper King. I haven't been but friends who Know Stuff say it's great.

See if any of those suit you. If not, post back.

Thanks so much Sue! I looked at the menus, and Anson looks perfect. We'll try there.
