Any Favorites, I am hungry this morning and haven't had one in ages.

Bonus points for excellent and picante (spicy) salsa

Maria's Tortillas on Manchester has a great breakfast burrito.

Really?! I'll def check It out. I wish I liked their corn tortilla's better, they are just very dry. They were nice enough to sell me some of their fresh lard once for a recipe even though it's not on the menu.

Delish! This is more Mexican than Mex/American. I got the Machaca BB and it was just egg, beef, salsa and beans. No potato or other filler. Love it. I should mention this is not really a restaurant more of a store front for the Tortilla shop, and it looks like they specialize in flour tortillas. You can eat there but the seating/ambiance is utilitarian at best.

I'll keep looking for what I think of as the San Diego style BB

What characterizes a San Diego-style breakfast burrito? The addition of french fries, like a California burrito?

Pretty much.maybe that is a better term, san diego breakfast burrito I call it that because good BB's are all over the place tcere, and well, I lived in SD for a bit.

I'm from San Diego and I can back him up.

And I personally like fries in my BBs but it's not super common. I get fries beans bacon cheese and egg, is my favorite.

You'd think you could just go to a mexican place and have them make that and it'd turn out the same, but I havent' tried since westwood's godawful Mexican places traumatized me.

      2. Did you find one? If so what was in it, where did you go and most importantly, do you recommend it to the board or not?

I was running a bit late so I ended up eating at home. I'll try and check it out later this week
