Looking for good mexican food

Going to visit some friends and need to know a good mexican food place to have dinner. Does not have to be on the strip. How about off strip?

Could you tell us a little bit about Casa Don Juan? I'm not familiar with it.

i ran across casa don juan a couple years ago and have lunch there every now and then. they are very busy for lunch but it's fairly good size and i have always been seated right away. they give you good guacamole and chips to start. everything good. i like their carnitas and carne asada. to the left from entry is a shrine to frida kahlo. the staff seems like they have been there since day one. very comfortable lunch place. i've never done dinner.
