  1. Is this a continuation of your previous thread?

    Italian, $20-30 entrees, Feb 11?

Because you are booking less than 4 weeks in advance, many of the board favorites will already be fully committed or only have early or late times left. Are you OK with dining at 6 or 10pm?

      sure thats fine

You probably won't be able to get into Babbo, Maialino, or Locanda Verde, but you might be able to snag an early table at Ciano or Scarpetta (assuming there isn't a Scarpetta in your hometown). I think Ai Fiori or Marea may be pricier than you want, check their menus/Menupages.com.

        1. Amarone Restaurant.

It is a 9th and just up from 47th.

Check out their menu and reviews on line.

Fresh in house made pasta, and some great dishes of veal and lamb.

Since we are naming all of them, although, "the best" is depending on what you're in the mood for. Mid - upper range, confuses me. I guess most of the good ones were mentioned. Some that were mentioned I would consider mediocre. So i'll throw a few more in, however, Marea is probably the best for fish, Esca is another for fish. Ristorante Aglio is excellent, the chef cooked in a Michelin restaruant in Tuscany, he is Japanese. Accappella for old school good italian, D'Andrea I love , Osteria Morini especially if they have the lasagna , it's the best i've had outside of italy. Cantinori is closed for renovations, Il Mulino was mentioned but worth a double mention except for the crampedness of the place. For medium priced Becco is a decent meal. I do not like the highly rated and always packed Locand Verde, I refuse to eat in Scallini Fidelli because the prices seem like such a ripoff and their board of health grade is pending, lastly I'll say Rao's for regular good food especially the Contadina, and the roasted peppers
