Called a few stores in the area but am not finding pork cheeks. Anyone know of a purveyor near gaithersburg md??

You might try Whole Foods. The one by us carries them fresh. Though I'm in Florida.

You might be able to order them from the butcher at Lancaster County Meats at the PA Dditch market in Germantown. Only open Thurs. through Sat. I've ordered special cuts from him before a week in advance.

I was out there yesterday excited by the news that someone might be able to get me cheeks. However, my request was met with a very blank stare. I did partake of a few other goodies there though, so the trip was not entirely for nothing. However, the search for cheeks continues....
