Mistral

We've been invited to an Aunt's 95th b'day party at Mistral. What's good / bad there? I pulled up their menu and the escargot sounds like a winner as does the linguini and cajun shrimp. Are the steals worth damn near 50 bucks??

I haven't had anything bad there and the specials are always very good. Last time I was there I had a special grilled calamari salad. It was fantastic. Be prepared though - this is not light food.

Thanks, foodnmusic. I just found a few other raves from a different thread and include a couple of the dishes I'm interested in, I'm looking forward to enjoying some escargot and steak tartare.

Save room for the souffle. Really good. I think Mistral is one of the very best restaurants in the valley.

ABSOLUTELY! But, since I'm not paying for it and if nobody else wants dessert, I'm SOL; same goes for the app, too.
