Bar food in Vail

Going to Vail this weekend and looking for a place to catch the Giant-49er game on Sun. Any suggestions?
Good bar Food, Big TV, and Beer/ WIne. Thanks.

Garfinkels is always a good spot. Does Moe's have a TV? And you might have some luck with good hotel bars. The Cascade is at the west end of the shuttle rides - but it's bar is really nice - (not big, tho) - nice fireplace and really comfy chairs. Big windows and a TV. Los Amigos (on the other side of the building from the tap room) has a tv in the bar. And then there's The George (in the basement of the hotel at the north end of the covered bridge).

The game was yesterday! If you are thinking SuperBowl, that's best done at a private party.

The Tap Room and The Red Lion would be my first two thoughts.

If you are not mobile, try the "Tap Room" in Vail. A more in your face place would be the Sandbar in West Vail, but be careful. My guess is the best place in the Valley (think Edwards) would be the Gore Range Brewery or E-Town. Except for the reinvented Gore Range, food will be deep fried and mediocre.

i like the tap room for games. i remember having a friend in town a while back and watching games at the restaurant in the evergreen lodge. a lot of tv's. food was typical bar food but a decent variety of wing options (prior to the boom of places like bww)
