LA foodie needs help
going to vegas this weekend and need a place for a friday night dinner.. we have one veggie only person in our group.
someplace that does not require us to dress up too much. but at the same time, not a place you can walk in with a tank top and sandals..hehe
If any of you are familiar with the LA scene, looking for something similar to Hatfields, Rivera, Picca, etc
around the $30-50 range per person (not including drinks).
maybe a place with a 3 or 4 course tasting special for like $50 or so.
trying to avoid steakhouses, sushi or asian.
can be on strip or off strip.

I think Sage might be the closest to what you have in mind, but it might too expensive for your needs. Sage does offer a special early fixed-price dinner for $49, that might fit for you.
I'll have to dissent a little from Jack. Mundo is pretty good, but I think you can find better Mexican in L.A. for one-third of the price.
