Great burgers In Calgary SE

I know it's not in the SE, but 5 Guy's? Really? It's a good burger, but not a great one. Big selection of toppings, thats definitely a plus. And the fries are crap, made from russets, a great baking potato, but lousy for fries. And they're always so bloody salty.

The best burgers come off my cue'.

I am not a real fan of Five Guys either. I do however love the salted peanuts...Thanks to all for the suggestions..

he asked for great burgers in the SE. unfortunately, I can't really think of anything better than 5 Guys - can you?

and still - there is a HUGE difference between 5 Guys and Peter's (since it has changed ownership, anyhow). Those should not even be mentioned in the same sentence.

Though I've never been, someone told me that Oscar's on Bonaventure make a pretty good burger, so I'll have to go there sometime.

I've never had a burger at Oscar's, but I have eaten there and the food is outstanding. Hands down the best french onion soup i've EVER had.

Dang I can't believe I've never heard of this place. I hope somebody can review their burg soon or I might just have to go in there and try it myself!

go try it dude! I live really close to Oscar's, but I'm not really one to order a burger at a restaurant.... but if someone told me it was awesome, i would totally go for it hahah!

how far SE? Rocky's Burger Bus is a fantastic take-out burger, one of the best in the city.

Thanks Marco Polo..I am staying with my daughter below 130th SE...will give it a try . Maybe will wait till the cold weather warms a little !
