vegetarian ramen with housemade noodles?

There seemed to be a ton of interesting ramen places when I went to the West End area last year, but I couldn't find any with a vegetarian broth.

Sanpachi on West Broadway has Veggie Ramen w/Veggie Broth not sure about the Robson St store.

I doubt the noodles are housemade though.

Does *anyone* make their own ramen noodles in Vancouver?

Not *in* Vancouver that I know of. I think Santouka imports their own from one of the US branches.

I used to love that place in LA in my occasional meat-eating days.

I seem to recall that Motomachi Shokudo on Denman has had a vegetarian ramen since forever. Not housemade noodles though. Can't win 'em all...
