Meal delivery in Highland Park?

Hey, NJ hounds. Dear friends in Highland Park just had a baby, hooray. Last time, I was with them, and was able to cook a bunch of meals for their freezer; this time, we're just too far apart.

Are there any prepared-meal delivery options in the area, ideally that would let me purchase a gift certificate online so they can pick their own food?

I tried googling but my google-fu is weak in this instance, it seems.

Thanks - an SF Bay Area hound.

Delhi Garden in Edison delivers to Highland Park; it's fantastic and relatively inexpensive. I'm a big fan of the Amritsari Fried Fish but everything I've had there has been great. http://www.delhigardenrestaurant.com/

I second the Evelyn's recommendation (didn't know they deliver so thanks mickeygee) as well as Midori Sushi. For delivery sushi, there's a place in New Brunswick called Edo -- haven't had it in a while but it was decent when I did.

For Cuban, Caribbean Cafe in New Brunswick is a decent spot; their website says they deliver: http://caribbeancafenj.com/

One other place: a Vietnamese banh mi joint called Banh Mi Viet (and also called Baguette Delight). I don't know if they deliver (kind of doubt it), but it's worth a drive to Edison if possible; here's a thread on it that I think accurately captures the place: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/825573

Don't know of any "here are your meals for the week" type of places, but there are a few good restaurants that might work. Pad Thai is a pretty good thai restaurant, although they don't deliver but are in Highland Park (and HP is a pretty tiny town so everything is about 5 minutes away).

Evelyn's Restaurant in New Brunswick Delivers. Best hummus ever!

There are your requisite pizza joints too - a decent brick oven pizza place in New Brunswick is Panico's Brick Oven Pizza.

And although I'm not a big sushi fan, both the Sushi Room in New Brunswick and Midori Sushi in highland park are well loved by friends.

Last but not least, if you feel inclined to do the sweets thing, I always recommend Dancing Deer Cookies (www.dancingdeer.com) for new moms. I know, the whole eat healthy thing. But the cookies keep in the freezer and it's nice to have a cookie or two at 3 am when you're overtired and just want a sugar rush.
