Storing already baked cookies in the fridge?

Hey! I just made thumbprint cookies with a chocolate disk in the middle. The chocolate is not hardening (blame the FL weather) so i was wondering if it would be better to store them in the fridge as I'm bring them to an event tomorrow or is it bad to put already baked cookies in the fridge?

Do not know about the fridge but we freeze cookies all the time and it works great. They thaw in just 30 min. in most cases.
