    still eat here often. always order the gui zhou chicken or beef, chicken in garlic sauce (not like most places) and some dan dan noodles.

      I think the other branches are better. But compared to the awful Chinese food in the UWS, I welcome this place with open arms. That said, it's not a destination restaurant.

        +1 Best in the hood, but that ain't saying much. A while back I went to lunch one day but missed the lunch time at Grand Sichuan, went to Cottage and remembered why I hadn't been there in 10 years...

          i agree w/ what Miss Needle and dyrewolf said...i got takeout from there several times when i was housesitting nearby for a couple weeks last winter and spring: it's a wonderful improvement on what was available before, but nothing to get excited about unless you live very nearby...

              Cottage is awful, as is the one on Irving Place.
