What "Cajun" food are you looking for? It's not a category that one thinks of with respect to New Orleans generally.

not sure what you mean by it unless you're getting really specific...i guess, i mean generic "cajun" which seems to be a category listed in many restaurants in NOLA

As far as a Cajun restaurant, I would think of Bon Ton in the CBD, KPaul's in the Quarter, and possibly Cochon in the Warehouse District. Atchafalaya Cafe has a Cajun name, but I wouldn't call it a Cajun restaurant. Many restaurants may have Cajun menu items. Which is why I asked what you are looking for, in an attempt to try to help.

The crawfish rice I had there a few weeks ago was deliciously cajun. I think they have several cajun offerings because I was interested in the boudin stuffed quail but decided on something else.

I'm not sure if I have the area right - Touro Infirmary? If so...............

Cajun - Atchafalaya Cafe on Louisiana

      Other good places - Casamento's and Mahony's
