Restaurants beginning with the letters Q and X

A few friends have been doing dinner at SF restaurants starting with a different letter of the alphabet every few weeks. Off the top of our heads, we were stuck at restaurants that start with the letter Q and restaurants that start with the letter X. I exhaustively looked through opentable and yelp's database and cross referenced them with 'hounders opinions, if they existed. Here are the results:

Q Restaurants :
* Q Restaurant and Wine Bar
* Quan Bac
* Quan Ngon - Pho Ha Noi Vietnamese Noodle House
Que Syrah (wine bar, website lists tapas on Thursdays and Fridays)
Queen Malika (closes at 7PM)
* Queen's Louisiana Po-Boy Cafe

X Restaurants:
X-bar Sushi
Xiao Loong Restaurant
Xinh Bistro Lounge

Quince is too expensive for this venture, and Quan Bac and Queen's Louisiana Po-Boy Cafe seem like the most favorably reviewed Qs on chowhound. Any big advocates of the others? No X place is mentioned on Chowhound, so Xiao Loong Restaurant will probably win out because it's more centrally located than Xinh Bistro Lounge. Any other thoughts? Pop-ups and trucks open at dinner are welcome, but not big chains (e.g., Quickly & Quiznos)

      Cool, thanks for the links. BTW, Xiang Tian is closed and has been replaced by Mocha Chaca Cones and Cakes.

    2. We're hitting Xiao Loong Restaurant soon. Their menu isn't particularly focused, and the strong points from previous reports hint at the black bean dishes and the house wontons. Any recent experiences there?

        There's also Xyclo in Oakland, which I thought was pretty good, although it's been a while:

          Thanks for the tip about Xyclo-- it looks a lot more interesting the Xiao Loong. Unfortunately for the alphabet project, we're limited to SF proper. If we do an Oakland version, Xyclo looks like it would be an excellent X!

          Xiao Loong wasn't very good. The deep fried house made wontons were probably frozen--- the skins had an overcooked exterior and a nearly raw interior. The dried fried chicken was tangy and okay, but I found the batter too thick. The "braised fish" fillets didn't appear to be braised, but deep fried and served with a gloopy sauce on top. The asparagus used thick stalks and wound up overcooked. The vegetable chow fun used dark soy sauce, which I liked, but had at most two of each vegetable, and haphazardly chopped in that.
