Boiled water and forgot and now have black marks inside of pan. How can I clean this??
Soak in a strong ammonia solution.
After a year or more of daily use, they will disappear on their own.
Usually water marks are white or bluish rainbow. Anyway, try Bar Keeper Friends.
Let it soak in BKF for no more than 3 minutes. Then clean things up with a sponge. Steel wool is a last resort.
Bar Keepers Friend keeps my SS All Clad looking good.
I've done that too.The answer was BRILLO and elbow grease.
Personally I wouldn't recommend steel wool on SS unless you don't care about swirl marks on the finish.
Nope...don't care about the swirl marks at all. They have no affect on the performance of the pan. :-)
They may make you dizzy....
...that ship has already sailed, long ago. :-)
