Burnt stainless steel pan

Boiled water and forgot and now have black marks inside of pan. How can I clean this??

    The answer was BRILLO and elbow grease.

      Personally I wouldn't recommend steel wool on SS unless you don't care about swirl marks on the finish.

        Nope...don't care about the swirl marks at all. They have no affect on the performance of the pan. :-)

    2. Bar Keepers Friend keeps my SS All Clad looking good.

      1. Let it soak in BKF for no more than 3 minutes. Then clean things up with a sponge. Steel wool is a last resort.

        1. Usually water marks are white or bluish rainbow. Anyway, try Bar Keeper Friends.

          1. After a year or more of daily use, they will disappear on their own.
