Corned beef away from the Strip

New Vegas residents looking for corned beef and pastrami sandwiches west of the Strip. We've tried Three Angry Wives Pub near Boca Park and are hoping to find something better, though they weren't bad at TAW

So, on the other hand, what is the best place for corned beef and pastrami on the Strip?

Haven't tried a lot, but I thought Canter's at TI was pretty good -- better than Carnegie at Mirage, anyway.

Yeah, Carnegie is an outright disaster. That place is horrible. I think I saw Canter's on Man v. Food or some show like that....Anything close to Langer's in LA would be awesome.

Don't get me wrong. Canter's is roughly equal to its L.A. counterpart, but nowhere near as good as Langer's, or Junior's.

        Yea, so what about it?

Bagel Cafe at Buffalo & Westcliff is adequate but not stellar.

Thanks. There is clearly a need.

FYI. The Southpointe is south of the Strip and not west as the poster was looking for.

I'd happily drive down to the South Point for a good corned beef sandwich. The one I ate last night at an Irish Pub was some kind of a processed corned beef that was very uniformly sliced, lean and piled high, but no more tasted like corned beef than the turkey-based cold cuts served at Subway which don't taste like what they are called. I guess I'm still looking for real, honest corned beef.
