i have a nice collection of sweet stuff.... Fake Bailey's, Amaretto, Frangelico, Creme de Cacao among other basics like vodka, gin etc....and i often want to drink my dessert.
What can i make?
When I am in the mood for a straight up sweet drink, I like the Brandy Alexander - I have seen some variation (usually 1.5 parts brandy) but the one I use is equal parts creme de cacao, brandy, and cream or half-and-half, with nutmeg over the top.
will milk work? I don't usually keep creme in the house... soymilk or skim....but i like the idea of boozy and creamy.
I've used skim milk and it tasted fine, but a lot thinner and different than with half and half. Have also made it with soy creamer since my girlfriend is vegan and that worked too.
