Restaurant Recommendation on Upper East Side
Hounds,
We'll be in NYC in Feb, staying in the UES. We arrive a little on the later side Friday and are looking for somewhere not too far from our hotel for that evening -- anything up there? Geography of the City is not my strong suit.
For some context, I've been to NYC a number of times and enjoyed meals at all of the Momofuku restaurants, EMP, Prune, WD-50, Balthazar, The Dutch, Babbo, Lupa, Locanda Verde, Torrisi's.....
Suggestions for the UES?
Thanks.

Lusardi's Restaurant
1494 2nd Ave
(between 77th St & 78th St)I went here when I visited NYC and it has been my favorite Italian meal to date. The dishes I tried that are worth ordering were:
(App) Crespelle Fiorentina:
"Eggplant cannelloni filled with ricotta cheese and spinach, baked in a pink sauce."(Entree) Tortelli in Salsa Tartufata:
"Homemade ravioli filled with wild mushrooms, spinach and fontina cheese, in a light truffle sauce." This one is truly a winner.I hope you find this helpful!

Where's your hotel? Cross streets?
On the UES, there's Cafe Boulud and Daniel....
