FYI For SW Ohio transplants, I stumbled on Graeters ice cream at the Fresh Market today. While the don't have my beloved mint chocolate chip, they do have the raspberry chocolate chip along with the classics.

It's kind of like whole foods, but they seem less judgmental ; )

Not cheap but then they end up having ingredients that no one else has. (Pickled jalapenos in the midwest - harder to find then you might think!)

And my mom has a SEVERE allergy to corn - their store brand frozen stuff doesn't have corn syrup or corn starch as a filler, so we're pretty happy with them.

Thank you! I was wondering about Fresh Market because they're taking over the former Whole Foods location in Rockville's Congressional Plaza.

I would call and ask. Graeters seems to be carried by Krogers and Fresh Market. When I looked at the list from their website, Vienna wasn't listed. I happened to stop in and there it was! I and many others transplanted from SW Ohio are happy campers.

I found it today at the Fresh Market in Baltimore.....they had 4 flavors...$5.99 for a pint.....I was not impresed. I;ll bet it's probably better eaten fresh, I guess I'll just have to go to Cincinatti to experience the real thing

They always have at least a few flavors although it usually seems a bit picked over.

Just to be clear. Fresh Market only carries four Graeter flavors......not the whole line

Can't wait to tell them. Watch out Fresh Market...there will be some serious ice cream lovers heading your way!
