What do you think of Mojitos Grill and Bar?

I just saw a blurb about Mojitos Grill and Bar in the Marigney. Any opinions?

I have not eaten there but i spent a few nights in June enjoying music in their courtyard.

I give it a thumbs up.

It's not "ohmygoditsthebestever" but I've found it to be good to better than good. Plus, their mojitos are delicious and they are really working at being perhaps the first place to be successful going forward after Marisol did not reopen after Katrina.

When the weather is nice it is a wonderful courtyard to sit in and enjoy the food, drink and music.

"Better than good" is a pretty apt description. I've shied away from this place thinking it would be all salsa music and touristy food (based on location and the terrible name). That was a mistake. We had some very nice tapas style food here last night (crawfish fritters, a squid ink risotto, a short rib and grits, and a stuffed pepper) and it was all well prepared and tasty. The outside bar is close enough to hear the music playing inside but distant enough to allow for a conversation. Anyhow, it'll end up on my list of recommended places near Frenchmen St.
