I need reco's for places near Paddington. Eveything is fair game: Indian, Persian, Lebanese, Pub Grub, etc. I'm staying at the Indigo Hotel

We have stayed at Indigo in the past. Charming hotel and very convenient.

I second the Pearl Liang recommendation. It's excellent but the service can be slow if the place is busy.

Off the top of my head.

Pear Liang for Dim Sum
Patogh off Edgware Road for Iranian/Persian bread and griled meats.
The Front Line Club (haven't been for about 4 years but great shepherds pie and Lebanese wines)

Also if you fancy a 5-10 minure bus ride up to Bayswater

El Pirita de Tapas and Cafe Anglais or a bit further up Westbourne Grove -Hereford Road.
