Casual Business Dinner Recommendation - White Plains or nearby

Good Morning,

Apologies for not giving a good scan to the boards before writing, but I've been asked to locate a restaurant for my boss flying into the White Plains Airport tomorrow night, so I'm hoping for some help if possible. Also, because he will have a car, it doesn't have to be right nearby.

Dinner for two, Wednesday night, casual, slightly upscale but not 'expense account' worthy.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
Tnx!

Chick

Tarry Lodge or Nessa in Port Chester, Centro in the Glenville section of Greenwich, Moderne Barn in Armonk, or Ruby's in Rye.

      Thanks BG,

Can you say what would approx is the maximum drive from the West Chester Airport - 30 minutes?

Tarry Lodge seems perfect and has got to be only 15 or so, would you say? But the other options are good too.

I would go with any of those options, but skip Centro. It's kiddie-central. All of the suggested restaurants are btwn 15-20 min ride from the airport depending on the traffic.

        TNX MRS,
I thought Centro was maybe a bit.. bright? :)
How about noise levels, at Tarry Lodge for example? They're not discussing business plans, but he does need to be able to have convos. The picture looks like it might be a bit noisy? The other suggestions look better, but just to ask - is Alba too stuffy?

Don't think Alba is very interesting, or has any vibe at all. I have been to Tarry during the week and it's not so loud. Ask for a table NOT in the bar area to be sure.

Much thanks to all involved. Tarry Lodge looks like the place. If I get a report, I'll add it.

Was just there last night w/ 3 ppl. We had a number of the veggie antipasti to share- the best being the beets agrodolce hands down. The goat cheese pistachio pizza is an all-time favorite, although The Husband adores the guanciale sunny-side up egg pizza. One of us had the salumi salad, one had the zuppe di pesce, and I had the pollo francese. However, ordinarily I get the eggplant parm which is amazing, but I was attempting to be "healthy". Ha!!
