I rehydrate dried fruit in liqueurs to add flavor. I would think you could put your cranberries in a jar and cover with Grand Marnier. Add some orange zest and soak for a few days. You could do this with almost any dried fruit and liqueur combination. Use the liqueurs that are around 18% alcohol (36 proof) or less so they don't end up tasting like lighter fluid.
I have heard of cranberry wine. You could use it instead of the liqueur.
